Benjamin Franklin Physical Education
Mrs. Bond and Mr. Tenebruso are excited for another great year in physical education. We are looking forward to our 4th Annual Ben Franklin Minute and Jump Rope for Heart event in the New Year.
The main focus of our physical education program is gaining a healthy lifestyle for our students and continuing it as they get older. We hope the skills and lessons that have been taught will be applied to real-world experiences. This year, Mrs. Bond and Mr. Tenebruso will focus on wellness, movement, fitness, team building activities, loco motor skills, sport skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and cooperation. All classes perform dynamic and static exercises as their warm-up.

Chuck Lopez, firstname.lastname@example.org
Mr. Lopez is the advisor of the Instrumental music program and Band that is open to all students in grade 5. Students may rent instruments from the approved school provider or obtain their own instrument. Lessons are offered free of charge during the school day on a rotating pull out schedule. Students who successfully participate in the lesson program are invited to join the school Band. The Band practices weekly during the school day in preparation for the winter and spring concerts. Any student who hopes to play in the Middle School Band should begin instruction at the elementary level.
