Lights, Camera, 100 Days of 2nd grade!
The students put their writing and creativity skills to the test to write silly stories about what their life will be like when they are 100 years old!

Lights, Camera...Gravity! Students in Mrs. Parker and Mr. Ryan's Grade 5 classroom exhibited an understanding that all objects fall at the same rate at terminal velocity; while learning how gravity and air resistance impact the fall.



Lights, Camera, Author Share! Our students have been working hard on creating “How to” functional texts showcasing a skill they know.




Lights, Camera, Landforms and Bodies of Water! Students in Mrs. Panitch’s Grade 2 class created a model of landforms and bodies of water with food.




Lights, Camera, Fractions/Decimals!
Students in Mrs. Meisner’s Grade 4 class created their own fraction and decimal cards. In groups using the benchmarks 0, ½, 1, and 2 the students represented the fractions/decimals on a number line. Check out how they created an interactive number line using fractions and decimals!




Lights, Camera, Touchdown! Students in Mrs. Facendo and Miss Koncius’ Grade 4 class scored BIG as they put Newton’s Law of Motion to the test by varying weight and force on a “football”.




Lights, Camera, Bowling!
Today, students in Mrs. Bond's and Mr. Grau's PE classes bowled "for dollars!" They connected and applied their new-found bowling skills to their understanding of money, and boy oh boy did they cash in!




Lights, Camera... Rainfall!
Ms. Malanga's first grade BOLTs recently learned about how rain falls and decided to test it for themselves. Check out all the fun they had experimenting with shaving cream, food coloring, and water!
